The 2011 Fall WPBA Tournament has been canceled. After again checking the fields this morning, the accumulated water had frozen overnight adding to the non-playing status for today’s games. It is now snowing quite heavily, so we have decided to cancel the entire weekend, therefore, avoiding any possibility of injuries to the players due to the poor condition of the fields.
To the new coaches and parents, the tournament is a feature for all the teams and members of the WPBA to enjoy. The championship games are held at one venue for that reason, and because of that fact, as in any tournament, when the weather prohibits play at that venue the tournament must be canceled. The date for this event is set in the beginning of the year, along with a rain/snow date, and we will adhere to it.
