Game Fees

Game fees are to be split between home and visiting team equally and paid before the start of the game.

On all 12 Year Old & Under games, 1 umpire will be scheduled.

On all 13 Year Old games, coordinators will try to schedule 2 umpires, but 1 umpire is
acceptable.

On all 14, 16, 18 & College games, 2 umpires will be scheduled, but in the case of an
emergency, 1 umpire may be used.

Fees that must be paid without a game being played are:

a. Travel Fee when game is called due to rain or field being un-playable: if game has not started and umpires are present. (1/2 game fee per umpire)  There will not be a fee if the coordinator is notified 2-hours or more before game time.

b. If a game is canceled with directors approval in writing (email) or verbally by director to umpire coordinator between 24- 48 hrs no travel fee will be paid.

If a game is canceled without directors approval between 24 – 48 hours a travel fee will be paid.
If a game is canceled with directors approval 24 hours or less a full fee will be paid.
If a game is forfeited a full fee will be paid to all umpires by the forfeiting team as per WPBA rules.
All cancellations after the schedule handout change cutoff date must meet wpba guidelines and be approved by the director and be received by the umpire coordinator prior to game day (verbally or in writing) or a fee may be charged.

c. Full Fee, if Umpires show up at a scheduled game and teams do not.

d. Full fee if game is cancelled and Coordinator is not notified by voice contact.

Games that are cancelled 48 hrs in advance (With Directors permission) will not incur a fee. The home team manager (coach) is responsible for notifying his coordinator of any cancellation or change of venue.


The coordinators recommend that each coach call or email them (preferred) at the beginning of each week to verify their home field games.
